MERIT INCREASE DATES ---. The merit date for merit eligible employees will be changed from January 1 and July 1 eligibility to a single merit date of October 1 beginning October 1, 1999. The merit program will be implemented according to local programs and timetables for an October 1, 1999 and October 1, 2000 merit dates. The amount of merit will be the status quo for value of performance evaluation outcomes. Employees must be career, non-probationary on October 1, 1999 for the October 1999 merit and on October 1, 2000 for the October 2000 merit increase.
