Military and Peace Corps Leave. (a) An employee who is drafted or otherwise called to active duty, or who leaves his position for extended active duty in the military service of the United States during a state of war or national emergency, shall be granted a military leave for the duration of such war or national emergency. He shall be entitled to return to his position provided his discharge from the service is not dishonorable and he is able to pass a health examination given by a medical examiner selected by the Chancellor. Application must be made within sixty (60) days following his discharge from the service.
