Military Exigency. To use for any qualifying exigency arising out of the fact 31 that a covered military member (member of National Guard and Reserves) is on 32 active duty or called to active duty status in support of a contingency operation. A 33 qualifying exigency is defined as follows: Short-notice deployment; Military events 34 and related activities; Childcare and school activities; Financial and legal 35 arrangements; Counseling; Rest and recuperation; Post-deployment activities; 36 Additional activities not encompassed in the other categories, but agreed to by the 37 Board or employee.

Military Exigency. For any qualifying exigency arising out of the fact that a spouse, son, daughter, or parent is a military member on covered active duty or call to covered active duty status.
Military Exigency. Leave is FML for the purpose of addressing issues which may arise from a covered military member’s deployments or call to active duty to a foreign country. Length of time off from work varies under Military Exigency Leave based on type of leave taken and shall be deducted from the twelve (12) week entitlement.

  • Military Experience If honorably discharged, including a general discharge under honorable conditions, credit for pay purposes shall be granted for up to four years of active military duty in the armed forces of the United States of America.   • Military Service Leave The Employer and the Union agree that the matter of leave of absence for an employee during the period of his/her military service with the armed forces of the United States, and of his/her reinstatement thereafter, shall be governed by applicable statutes.

  • Military Leave An employee will be granted unpaid Military Leave in accordance with the Employment Standards Act. The employee will give as much notice as is reasonably possible and will provide a copy of the Military Notice when received.

  • Military Service Credit Permanent HMC employees who are veterans or their unmarried widows/widowers shall have added to their unbroken service the veteran’s active military service to a maximum of five (5) years in accordance with applicable state and federal law.
