Common use of Military Reserve Training Clause in Contracts

Military Reserve Training. Regular full-time employees who attend military reserve training in the U.S. Armed Forces will be paid the difference, if any, between the total pay they receive from the government for the 14-day tour of duty and their basic wage rate for 10 workdays, provided the military pay is the lower of the two. This payment will not exceed 10 days in any calendar year. For the purpose of this contract, "Armed Forces" shall include the Army, the Air Force, the Navy, the Marine Corps, the Coast Guard, and the National Guard. Proof of pay received for reserve training must be provided to the Company.
