Health and Safety Representative. Where an Employee is elected by Employees of the Employer as a HSR and agrees to undertake the required training to fulfil the role, the Employee will be classified as the higher of CW4, or the Employee's usual classification. In addition, a HSR is entitled to an all-purpose hourly allowance for the life of this agreement as per the table at clause 47 – Health and Safety Representatives Allowance.
Health and Safety Representative. An employee who is nominated as the HSR on site that employee will be paid at level 6 as a minimum. Marker/Setter Out An Employee performing the work of a marker/setter out shall be paid an all-purpose allowance of 5% of his/her applicable hourly rate.

Health and Safety Representative. (a) The Company and its Employees will comply with Part 5 of the WHS Act – Consultation, representation and participation, in relation to the establishment of a health and safety committee.
Health and Safety Representative. The Company agrees to establish a Local Joint Committee on Health and Safety for the Windsor Area office consisting of two (2) Committee members appointed by management and two (2) Committee members appointed by the CAW President of the National Union, who will be referred to as the first and second members of the Committee. The first members will serve as co-chairmen/women of the Local Joint Committee on Health and Safety. The CAW President of the National Union shall advise the Corporate Labour Relations Staff, in writing, of the appointee. No Union member shall function as such until the Company is so advised. The maximum number of hours per week in which the first Union member may perform Health and Safety functions shall be eight (8) hours per week. The second Union member of the Local Joint Committee on Health and Safety shall function as prescribed by Legislation. The rights and duties of the Health and Safety Representative/Committee will parallel those found in the Production and Maintenance Memorandum of Understanding Health and Safety based on the past practices and amicable arrangements reached in the Office, Clerical and Engineering workplace.
Health and Safety Representative. The Health and Safety representative, after having informed his/her respective immediate supervisor, is entitled to a reasonable length of time, without loss of pay, to inquire into each complaint concerning health and safety issues. The hours or days of leave taken for these purposes will be drawn from the bank of hours provided for in clause 11.10.
