Minimum Days. 56 On minimum days each employee who would be working if it were not a minimum day, shall be 57 given work assignment. The employee, on minimum days, may request to take vacation or a non- 58 paid day off. 3 All probationary or permanent employees shall be entitled to the above paid holidays provided they 4 are in a paid status during any portion of the working day immediately preceding or succeeding the 5 holidays. 7 Due to the timing of the Juneteenth holiday, ten or eleven month employees who work 7 or more 8 days during the May 26 β June 25 timeframe and meet the eligibility requirements above will be 9 entitled to a paid holiday for Juneteenth. 11 Due to the timing of the Independence Day holiday, ten or eleven month employees who work 7 or 12 more days during the June 26 - July 25 timeframe and meet the eligibility requirements above will 13 be entitled to a paid holiday for Independence Day.
