Modified Benefit Option to Traditional Benefit Option i. Employees who convert from the MBO to the traditional benefit option shall carry over and may utilize their existing PTO balance (if any) and begin accruing vacation, holiday, and sick leave immediately according to the Leave Provisions Article; however, the maximum combined PTO and vacation accrual that may be carried over to a future calendar year shall not exceed this employee’s allowed maximum vacation accrual balance at the end of the calendar year as established in the Leave Provisions Article Section 1(b)(2) for employees in the classifications of Firefighter EMT, Firefighter Paramedic, Captain, and Engineer; and Section 1(c)(2) for employees in the classifications of Fire Suppression Aide II and Fire Suppression Aide III.

Modified Benefit Option to Traditional Benefit Option. Employees who go from the MBO to the traditional benefit option shall carry over and may utilize their existing PTO balance (if any) and begin accruing vacation, holiday, and sick leave immediately; however, the employee’s combined Vacation and PTO balance shall not exceed the applicable vacation caps established in the Vacation Leave section of the Leave Provisions article. For example, if an employee with 11,000 service hours carries over 200 PTO hours and 10 Vacation Leave hours the employee shall only be eligible to accrue up to 30 Vacation Leave hours since the maximum allowed unused Vacation Leave is 240 hours. If such employee then uses some Vacation Leave or PTO, the employee shall be eligible to accrue additional Vacation Leave, not to exceed established cap.

  • Benefit Options Employees must elect a plan administrator and primary care clinic. Those elections will determine the Benefit Level through Advantage. Enrolled dependents must elect a primary care clinic that is available through the plan administrator chosen by the employee.

  • Retirement Options The Xxxxxxx Community College Board of Trustees may at its discretion grant one of the following retirement incentive plans to eligible faculty. The unit member must elect and may participate in only one of the three following retirement plans:

  • Defined Benefit Pension Plan 1. The Employer and the Union hereby agree to the continuation of the existing Northern California Glaziers, Architectural Metal and Glass Workers Pension Trust Agreement ("Defined Benefit Pension Trust").

  • Severance and Retirement Options (a) (i) Where an employee resigns within 30 days after receiving notice of layoff pursuant to article 14.02 (a)(ii) that his or her position will be eliminated, he or she shall be entitled to a separation allowance of two (2) weeks' salary for each year of continuous service to a maximum of sixteen (16) weeks' pay, and, on production of receipts from an approved educational program, within twelve (12) months of resignation, may be reimbursed for tuition fees up to a maximum of three thousand ($3,000) dollars.

  • Employment Option If the State determines that it would be in the State’s best interest to hire an employee of the Contractor, the Contractor will release the selected employee from any non-competition agreements that may be in effect. This release will be at no cost to the State or the employee.

  • Death Benefit Should Employee die during the term of employment, the Company shall pay to Employee's estate any compensation due through the end of the month in which death occurred.

  • Survivor Benefit Upon the death of a regular employee who leaves a spouse and/or dependants enrolled in the Medical Services Plan, Dental Plan and Extended Health Benefit Plan, such enrolment may continue for twelve (12) months following the employee’s death, provided the enrolled family members pay the employee’s share of the cost of the premium for the plans. The Employer shall advise the survivor of this benefit.

  • Survivor Benefits 1. A surviving dependent of a retiree who was eligible to receive a Retiree Medical Grant, as stated above in A through C, and who qualifies for a monthly allowance shall be eligible for fifty (50) percent of the Grant authorized for the retiree.

  • Optional Benefits Optional Group Life Insurance This plan is available on an optional, employee-pay-all basis and you may apply to purchase additional group life insurance coverage for you and/or your spouse. Coverage is available from a minimum of $10,000 to a maximum of $300,000 in increments of $10,000.
