Mutually-Agreed Professional Learning Time Sample Clauses

Mutually-Agreed Professional Learning Time. An additional 3.5 hours of paid time for professional learning and collaboration completed outside the employee’s work day will be available to each certificated staff member on a pro rata basis. The use of this time shall be mutually-agreed upon by the staff member and administrator/supervisor at least ten (10) school days in advance of the professional learning and memorialized on a form (Appendix A). Such agreement shall not be unreasonably withheld. Professional learning opportunities may include, but are not limited to, grade level team collaboration, department collaboration, attendance at professional conferences/workshops, inter-district professional collaboration, district-provided learning opportunities, etc.
