Common use of Named Holiday Clause in Contracts

Named Holiday. (i) Casual Employees required to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid at one and one-half times (1 ½ X) the Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked on such day. (ii) Casual Employees shall be paid five percent (5%) of their earnings at the Basic Rate of Pay in lieu of Named Holidays.

Named Holiday. (i) Casual Employees required to work on a Named Holiday shall be paid at one and one-half times (1 ½ X) the Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked on such day. (ii) Casual Employees shall be paid five four point six percent (54.6%) of their earnings at the Basic Rate of Pay in lieu of Named Holidays. (iii) A Casual Employee who works on August Civic Holiday or Christmas Day shall be paid at the rate of two times (2X) their Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked.

Named Holiday. � (ia) A Casual Employees Employee required to work on a Named Holiday named holiday as per Article 13.01, shall be paid at one and one-half times (1 ½ 1 /2 X) times her basic rate of pay or at the Basic Rate of Pay for all hours worked on such dayappropriate overtime rate if applicable. (iib) Casual Employees shall be paid five percent paid, in addition to their basic rate of pay, four point four per cent (54.4%) of their earnings at the Basic Rate of Pay this rate per pay period in lieu of Named Holidaysnamed holidays.
