National Joint City Delivery Committee. There will be established at the national level a Joint City Delivery Committee. The Committee will be comprised of representatives of the Employer and five Union representatives appointed by the President of the NALC and will meet for the purpose of advising on problems affect- ing city delivery service and to present suggested changes and improve- ments in operating procedures. Such meetings will be held semiannual- ly at Postal Service Headquarters. Agenda items shall be exchanged 15 working days in advance of the scheduled meeting, and written minutes shall be kept of all such Committee meetings. The City Delivery Committee shall receive notice of any proposed changes in any instructional booklet regarding the mail count and route inspection and adjustment system. Recommendations of the NALC representatives will be considered and may be adopted by mutual agreement of the Committee provided they are not in conflict with the National Agreement.

  • NATIONAL JOINT COUNCIL AGREEMENTS 20.1 Subject to the National Joint Council By-Laws, agreements concluded by the National Joint Council of the Public Service on items which may be included in a collective agreement, and which the parties to this agreement have endorsed after December 6, 1978, will form part of this collective agreement, subject to the Public Service Labour Relations Act (PSLRA) and any legislation by Parliament that has been or may be, as the case may be, established pursuant to any Act prescribed in Schedule III of the PSLRA.

  • Nurse Representatives & Grievance Committee (a) The Hospital agrees to recognize Association representatives to be elected or appointed from amongst nurses in the bargaining unit for the purpose of dealing with Association business as provided in this Collective Agreement.   • Shipping must be Freight On Board Destination to the delivery location designated on the Customer purchase order The Contractor will retain title and control of all goods until delivery is completed and the Customer has accepted the delivery. All risk of transportation and all related charges are the responsibility of the Contractor. The Customer will notify the Contractor and H-GAC promptly of any damaged goods and will assist the Contractor in arranging for inspection. The Contractor must file all claims for visible or concealed damage. Unless otherwise stated in the Agreement, deliveries must consist only of new and unused merchandise.

  • Procedures of the Joint Committee 1. For the proper implementation of this Agreement, the Joint Committee shall meet at an appropriate level whenever necessary upon request but at least once a year. Either Party may request a meeting be held.

  • National Board Certification A teacher who receives or holds a valid National Board Certification will receive a five hundred dollar ($500.00) stipend in each year the certification is valid and the teacher is actively teaching in the area of certification.

  • Notice of Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Company when any representative of the Union intends to visit the worksite for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits will not disrupt employees working without the supervisor/manager’s permission.

  • Technical Advisory Committee (TAC The goal of this subtask is to create an advisory committee for this Agreement. The TAC should be composed of diverse professionals. The composition will vary depending on interest, availability, and need. TAC members will serve at the CAM’s discretion. The purpose of the TAC is to: • Provide guidance in project direction. The guidance may include scope and methodologies, timing, and coordination with other projects. The guidance may be based on: o Technical area expertise; o Knowledge of market applications; or o Linkages between the agreement work and other past, present, or future projects (both public and private sectors) that TAC members are aware of in a particular area. • Review products and provide recommendations for needed product adjustments, refinements, or enhancements. • Evaluate the tangible benefits of the project to the state of California, and provide recommendations as needed to enhance the benefits. • Provide recommendations regarding information dissemination, market pathways, or commercialization strategies relevant to the project products. The TAC may be composed of qualified professionals spanning the following types of disciplines: • Researchers knowledgeable about the project subject matter; • Members of trades that will apply the results of the project (e.g., designers, engineers, architects, contractors, and trade representatives); • Public interest market transformation implementers; • Product developers relevant to the project; • U.S. Department of Energy research managers, or experts from other federal or state agencies relevant to the project; • Public interest environmental groups; • Utility representatives; • Air district staff; and • Members of relevant technical society committees. The Recipient shall: • Prepare a List of Potential TAC Members that includes the names, companies, physical and electronic addresses, and phone numbers of potential members. The list will be discussed at the Kick-off meeting, and a schedule for recruiting members and holding the first TAC meeting will be developed. • Recruit TAC members. Ensure that each individual understands member obligations and the TAC meeting schedule developed in subtask 1.11. • Prepare a List of TAC Members once all TAC members have committed to serving on the TAC. • Submit Documentation of TAC Member Commitment (such as Letters of Acceptance) from each TAC member.   • Local Negotiating Committee (a) A negotiating committee of four (4) employee representatives appointed by the union including the bargaining unit president.
