INJURY ALLOWANCE 34.01 An employee injured on the job shall be paid for the balance of his or her shift on which the injury occurred if, as a result of such an injury, the employee is sent home by the Employer or is sent to an outside hospital and doctor at such hospital or the employee’s own doctor certifies that the employee should not return to work. Pension Contributions While on Short Term Disability Contributions for OMERS Plan Members When an employee/plan member is on short-term sick leave and receiving less than 100% of regular salary, the Board will continue to deduct and remit OMERS contributions based on 100% of the employee/plan member’s regular pay.
Laundry Allowance A laundry and dry cleaning allowance of $20.00 per week is to be paid to Appraisers assigned to work outside the County of Los Angeles for periods in excess of 14 calendar days.
Productivity Allowance A productivity allowance per hour worked will be paid to employees engaged upon construction work from the date of agreement. Short-Term Plan Benefit (a) In the event an employee is unable to work because of illness or injury he/she will be entitled to a benefit of seventy-five percent (75%) of pay for a period not to exceed seven (7) months from date of absence, (Short Term Plan Period).
