NON-COMPETITIVE, LABOR AND EXEMPT CLASSIFICATIONS. A new employee in a non-competitive, labor or exempt Civil Service Classification who is in probationary status (or who has been appointed to a position on a temporary; seasonal; emergency, or training basis), shall not be entitled to appeal any disciplinary action taken against the employee, nor shall the Union have the right to appeal any disciplinary action taken against the employee, nor shall the Union have the right to appeal such action on the employee’s behalf. An employee in a non-competitive, labor and exempt Civil Service Classification who has completed the probationary period shall be entitled to appeal any disciplinary action in accordance with Article 4.
