Non-Disciplinary Suspension with Pay Pending Investigation. 20.7.1 Following advice from a Xxxx or administrative equivalent, the Xxxxxxx and Vice- President (Academic) may, in his or her discretion, suspend from duty and privileges any member of the academic staff where required to ensure the ability of the Governors to maintain a safe work and learning environment or to conduct a fair and thorough investigation of any matter that may lead to suspension or dismissal. The Xxxxxxx shall forthwith report such action and the reasons for it to the Association.
