Nondiscrimination Equal Opportunity. The University serves from time to time as a contractor for the United States government. Accordingly, the provider of goods and/or services shall comply with federal laws, rules and regulations applicable to subcontractors of government contracts including those relating to equal employment opportunity and affirmative action in the employment of minorities (Executive Order 11246), women (Executive Order 11375), persons with disabilities (29 USC 706) and Executive Order 11758, and certain veterans (38 USC 4212 formerly [2012]) contracting with business concerns with small disadvantaged business concerns (Publication L. 95-507). Contract clauses required by the Government in such circumstances are incorporated herein by reference.

Nondiscrimination Equal Opportunity. During the performance of the SERVICES CONTRACT, CONTRACTOR agrees as follows:
Nondiscrimination Equal Opportunity. To the extent required by law, the parties each agree they shall comply with applicable equal opportunity requirements. Contractor will, in all solicitations or advertisements for employees placed by or on behalf of Contract, state all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin or handicap. Contractor shall comply with Executive Order 11246 of September 24, 1965, and of the rules, regulations, and relevant orders of the Secretary of Labor. Contractor certifies that it does not maintain or provide for its employees any segregated facilities at any of its establishments, and that Contractor does not permit its employees to perform their services at any location, under its control where segregated facilities are maintained. Contractor agrees that it will obtain identical certifications from proposed subcontractors exceeding $10,000 which are not exempt from the provisions of the Equal Opportunity Clause and that it will retain such certification in its files. Contractor shall endeavor to utilize City of Tampa certified Women and Minority Business Enterprises (WMBEs) and Small Local Businesses Enterprises (SLBEs). In addition to any list of City-certified WMBEs and/or SLBEs the City may make available in connection with this Contract, Contractor may explore other potential opportunities for subcontracting by consulting the current directory of all City- certified firms posted by the City at xxxxx://xxxxx.xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx.xxx and on the City’s website under Minority & Small Business Development. At the time of execution of this Contract, Contractor shall submit to the City signed and completed Form MBD-10 Schedule of All Solicited Sub- (Contractors/Consultants/Suppliers) (Form MBD-10) and Form MBD-20 Schedule of All- To Be Utilized Sub- -(Contractors/Consultants/Suppliers) (Form MBD-20) reporting all subcontractors (including non-certified) solicited and utilized together with such other forms as the City may from time to time require pursuant to Chapter 26.5, City of Tampa Code. Contract shall submit to the City with invoices for each draw request a signed and completed Form MBD-30 DMI Sub--(Contractors/Consultants/Suppliers) Payments together with such other forms as the City may from time to time require pursuant to Chapter 26.5, City of Tampa Code,

  • Nondiscrimination and Equal Opportunity Consultant shall not discriminate, on the basis of a person’s race, religion, color, national origin, age, physical or mental handicap or disability, medical condition, marital status, sex, or sexual orientation, against any employee, applicant for employment, subcontractor, bidder for a subcontract, or participant in, recipient of, or applicant for any services or programs provided by Consultant under this Agreement. Consultant shall comply with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, policies, rules, and requirements related to equal opportunity and nondiscrimination in employment, contracting, and the provision of any services that are the subject of this Agreement, including but not limited to the satisfaction of any positive obligations required of Consultant thereby.
