Notice of Discipline: 72-Hour Rule. When employees are called into the office on a charge or charges, they shall answer to such charge or charges only, provided that when complaints are made by Company officials that the employee is personally notified within 72 hours of the alleged offense, except in registration cases the employee’s two days off will not be included in the computation of the 72 hours. Provided that the 72-hour period for notification begins when the employee physically reports to work at the start of a scheduled work shift and performs his/her duties on such shift. The notice of hearing shall include the time of the incident or infraction.
