Common use of Notice of Intention to Return Clause in Contracts

Notice of Intention to Return. In all instances where a faculty member is granted a leave of eight (8) months or more, as a condition thereof, the Board shall notify such faculty member by certified mail one hundred and fifty (150) calendar days prior to the beginning of the next semester after the faculty member's leave expires that the faculty member must return to work. Failure of the faculty member to advise the Xxxxxxx or designee at least ninety (90) calendar days (or May, whichever occurs first) prior to the beginning of the next semester (after expiration of leave) as required herein shall be treated as an election not to return to employment and as a resignation from the College.
