Notice of Readiness & Commencement of Lay-time. The Master shall give notice of readiness to NFL or nominated agents during official working hours. The time at discharging port shall begin to count from 24 running hours after the vessel’s arrival within the port limits and Notice of readiness tendered and accepted during official working hours i.e. 10.00 Hrs. to 17.00 Hrs from Monday to Friday and 10.00 to 12.00 Hrs on Saturdays (or during any of the periods exempted (for discharge port) even if used reported) and should be in free pratique, whether in berth or not. Charterers have the right to work during excepted periods, such time used not to count as lay time. Time shall not be counted between 12.00 noon on Saturday and 8.00 a.m. on Monday and not between 5.00 p.m. (Noon if Saturday) on the last working day preceding a local and legal holiday and 8.00 a.m. on the first working day thereafter even if used, unless the vessel is already on demurrage. Receivers have the right to work during excepted period such time used not to count as lay time.
