Common use of Notification of Absence from Work Clause in Contracts

Notification of Absence from Work. An employee, when absent, shall be required to notify the Human Resources Department or Guard as soon as possible before the start of his/her first shift on the first day of absence. Wherever possible, a minimum of one (1) hour's notice will be given for the day shift and two (2) hour's notice for the afternoon and midnight shifts.
