Common use of Notification of Intent to Return Clause in Contracts

Notification of Intent to Return. A. The Professional Staff Member on leave for one (1) school year or for the full second semester shall notify the Director of Human Resources, in writing, by April 1 of his/her intent to return to his/her teaching duties in August or to ask for an extension of said leave, if eligible. B. Professional Staff Members on leave for the full first semester only shall notify the Director of Human Resources, in writing, by December 1 of his/her intent to return to his/her teaching duties at the beginning of the second semester or to ask for an extension of said leave, if eligible.
