SUMMER WORKSHOPS. Summer workshops in curriculum and other areas of school activity shall be advertised to all Unit I members. Selection of personnel for these workshops shall be consistent with the objectives of the activity. Participation shall be voluntary.

SUMMER WORKSHOPS. Summer workshops are not subject to these leave provisions because school is not then in session. Any payment of fees or expenses in this regard shall be within the discretion of the Superintendent.
SUMMER WORKSHOPS. Teachers who wish to attend a summer workshop, either in their major field of teaching, or in the field of their current teaching assignment, with Board or Board designee approval, will be reimbursed for registration fees, special equipment fees, and room and board when he returns for the new school year. Reimbursement will be made upon documentation of the expenses incurred within sixty (60) days after said documentation has been supplied to the Board.

SUMMER WORKSHOPS. Teachers who are asked by the District to attend a summer workshop will be reimbursed $15.00 per hour by the District. Teachers will not be paid for workshops they choose to attend on their own. Elementary special area teachers (art and music) shall receive a stipend of $125 for every evening or outside of teacher work day student program beyond the first such program in a school year. To be eligible for the stipend, the building principal must approve the program. The rate will be $25.00 per hour. ****With the exception of Building Level Stipends, no supplemental will be split more than two ways.
SUMMER WORKSHOPS. Persons accepted to summer workshops by the Great Neck School system shall be compensated at the rate of $155 for each three hours of workshop time authorized.

SUMMER WORKSHOPS. Teachers attending the District’s professional development meetings during the summer and not on a contractual attendance day will be compensated at a rate of thirteen dollars and fifty cents ($13.50) per hour contingent upon availability of grant funds. The parties clearly understand that summer workshops are voluntary and not mandatory.

  • Workshops During the month of September or October of each year during the term of this Agreement, there shall be held at each University a workshop for Department Chairs at which will be discussed their roles and responsibilities as such. Representatives of the University, at its election, and representatives of the Association, at its election, shall be permitted to participate jointly in such workshop.

  • Summer Work a. This section shall apply only to those employees hired to fill temporary summer positions. b. The District will provide the Association with a list of expected summer work job openings prior to the last day of school. Summer positions shall be included on the District’s website. c. The District shall not fill summer positions with outside employees until bargaining unit members have had at least three (3) working days to submit applications.

  • Curriculum Development This includes the analysis and coordination of textual materials; constant review of current literature in the field, some of which are selected for the college library collection, the preparation of selective, descriptive materials such as outlines and syllabi; conferring with other faculty and administration on curricular problems; and, the attendance and participation in inter and intra-college conferences and advisory committees.

  • Software Development Software designs, prototypes, and all documentation for the final designs developed under this agreement must be made fully transferable upon direction of NSF. NSF may make the software design, prototype, and documentation for the final design available to competitors for review during any anticipated re-competition of the project.

  • Development Work The Support Standards do not include development work either (i) on software not licensed from CentralSquare or (ii) development work for enhancements or features that are outside the documented functionality of the Solutions, except such work as may be specifically purchased and outlined in Exhibit 1. CentralSquare retains all Intellectual Property Rights in development work performed and Customer may request consulting and development work from CentralSquare as a separate billable service.

  • Developer Developer shall construct and complete, in a good and workmanlike manner, the Work for the Guaranteed Maximum Price including any adjustment(s) to the Guaranteed Maximum Price pursuant to provisions herein regarding changes to the Guaranteed Maximum Price. Except as otherwise noted, Developer shall provide and pay for all labor, materials, equipment, permits (excluding DSA), fees, licenses, facilities, transportation, taxes, bonds and insurance, and services necessary for the proper execution and completion of the Work, except as indicated herein.

  • Creative Work The Executive agrees that all creative work and work product, including but not limited to all technology, business management tools, processes, software, patents, trademarks, and copyrights developed by the Executive during the term of this Agreement, regardless of when or where such work or work product was produced, constitutes work made for hire, all rights of which are owned by the Employer. The Executive hereby assigns to the Employer all rights, title, and interest, whether by way of copyrights, trade secret, trademark, patent, or otherwise, in all such work or work product, regardless of whether the same is subject to protection by patent, trademark, or copyright laws.

  • Projects There shall be a thirty (30) km free zone around the projects excluding the Metro Vancouver Area. For local residents, kilometers shall be paid from the boundary of the free zone around the project. Workers employed by any contractor within an identified free zone who resides outside of that same free zone will be paid according to the Kilometer Chart from the project to their residence less thirty

  • WORK CLOTHING Two sets of cotton drill protective clothing will be issued to all employees, upon request, within two weeks of commencing work with the Company. Employees will be made aware of these entitlements at the time of employment. A set of clothing will consist of either: • Two pairs of overalls; or • Two combination bib and brace; or • Two pairs of long trousers and two long sleeved shirt; or • Work denims at cost no greater than the above three choices • Clothing and footwear will be replaced on a fair wear and tear basis.
