Assignment of Remaining Staff 36 37 Following notification of non-renewal specific job assignments, school locations and transfer needs for 38 remaining staff will be determined. 39 40 The District and the Association agree that voluntary transfer is preferred over involuntary transfer. Prior 41 to involuntary transfer being affected, the District will first ask for volunteers who are willing to be 42 transferred. Employees shall have five (5) working days to request a voluntary transfer. 43 44 Any employee who is assigned to teach or serve in an area outside of his or her endorsement will not be 45 non-renewed based on teaching performance in that area and the out-of-endorsement assignment will 46 be noted on the annual evaluation as per state law. The District will provide support for successful 47 teaching in this out-of-endorsement assignment.
