Notification to Employer. An employee who is unable to report for duty on her scheduled shift shall notify the Residence of this fact four (4) hours in advance of the commencement of her scheduled evening and night shifts and two (2) hours in advance of the day shift, provided that this requirement shall be waived by the Residence where the employee was unable to give such notice due to circumstances beyond her control.
