Common use of Notify Union Clause in Contracts

Notify Union. (a) The Employer undertakes to notify the Union in advance so far as practicable, of any technological changes which the Employer has decided to introduce which will significantly change the status of employees within the bargaining unit. (b) The Employer agrees to discuss with the Union the effect of such technological changes on the employment status of employees and to consider practical ways of minimizing the adverse effect, if any, upon employees concerned.
