Number of Sessions. I ask that you commit to 8 sessions before realistically evaluating the effectiveness of therapy. After this, the contract can be reviewed, renewed and re-signed. General reviews will occur as we proceed with therapy and these may include changes in dates and times or frequency of sessions. I fully understand that your life circumstances may suddenly change for reasons beyond your control. You may want or need to discontinue therapy with me. Whatever the reason, I respect your decision but ask that you give two weeks’ notice (if possible) so that we are able to discuss your decision and if agreed, bring your therapeutic journey to a planned, safe & meaningful conclusion. Session Fees: Session fees are £40 per 50 minute session (rates are correct as at 1st April 2022). Any changes apply to new or renewed contracts and will be clearly communicated to you in advance.
Number of Sessions. The number and frequency of sessions offered will be discussed and reviewed regularly with you. You are free to stop your therapy at any time. If during the course of therapy, it becomes apparent that you require different help and support for your circumstances then I may signpost you to specialist services and discuss this with you. Fees, cancellation or missed sessions I understand that there will be some circumstances where you may need to cancel or rearrange your appointment. I request 24 hours’ notice of a cancellation or rescheduling unless we reach a different agreement. A cancellation fee will not be charged where sufficient notice is given. Likewise, I will provide notice should I need to reschedule your appointment. If you need to contact me between sessions to rearrange or reschedule then please leave a text, call or email me I will get back to you as soon as possible. If you miss a session without notice, then please contact me as soon as possible to reschedule. If you miss multiple sessions without notice, then our therapeutic agreement may be discontinued. I will endeavour to contact you should you miss sessions and after 2 attempts, or within 14 days, if there is still no contact then our agreement will be suspended/discontinued. Payment Payment should be made prior to each session or on the same day – unless specific arrangements have been made with you. Payment Details: Will be provided CONFIDENTIALITY I require certain information to be able to offer you services this includes – name, address, contact details, date of birth and GP contact details. Keeping your information All the information you provide is kept securely by a confidential electronic file, together with any reports/letters and information discussed within the sessions, including any written notes pertaining to the session. The information you share will be kept securely for an appropriate length of time – currently for GDPR and insurance purpose this is stated as 7 years. It will then be disposed of securely. All information stored is held in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulations (2017). We are also registered with the Information Commissioners Office (ICO) Process session notes Process notes of the sessions are notes that are made to help retain information and to be used where necessary for supervision. All counsellors must have regular monthly supervision to ensure they are practicing safely. My supervisor is bound by the same rules of confidentiality....

Number of Sessions. Provide a maximum of eight (8) counseling sessions (hours) per incident per year for employees and their dependents.
Number of Sessions. Dundee Counselling asks that you commit to 4 sessions before realistically evaluating the effectiveness of online therapy. After this, the contract can be renewed verbally for an additional 4 sessions. A review is given every 8th session (or sooner if desired) and may include changes in frequency of sessions. If both therapist and client collaboratively agree that more sessions are necessary to reach your goals, then more sessions (usually 3 – 8) are agreed upon before ending therapy or reviewing the process again. I understand that your life circumstances may suddenly change. You may at any point desire or be obligated to discontinue therapy. Whatever the reason, I respect your decision but ask that you give one weeks’ notice before finishing so that we have the chance to discuss your decision. Session Fees: Online counselling sessions last 50 minutes and fees are £40/£35 concession. The fee for online couple counselling is £50. Fees are reviewed yearly and any changes take effect on 1st January and apply to new or renewed contracts. Method of Payment: By card, BACS transfer or Online PayPal payment through our website. Payments must be made within 24 hours of the first online session and must be paid in advance of each following session. Multi-Session Purchase discounts are available if purchased in advance.
Number of Sessions. The number of sessions will depend on how much support is required by the client but usually range from 2-6 sessions. A client may only need to have 1-2 Sessions. Other clients may require up to 6 sessions depending on individual needs. A review of the client’s progress will take place on the 3rd session.
