Objections on Other Grounds. Any non-member making a fair share payment may object to the amount of his/her fair share payments on the grounds that all or part of such payments have been expended by the Union for political activities or causes or for activities or causes making ideological issues not germane to the collective bargaining process or contract administration. Any such employee with any such objection shall process his/her objection in accordance with the procedure set forth in Appendix "F", attached hereto and made a part of this Agreement.

Objections on Other Grounds. The Union agrees to assume full responsibility to insure full compliance with the US Supreme Court requirements with respect to the constitutional rights of members to object to the amount of any fees on political or other constitutional prescribed grounds, which include: (1) giving timely notice to members of the amount of the fee and a full explanation of the major categories of expenses, (2) advise members of an expeditious and impartial decision-making process whereby members can object to the amount of the fee, and (3) place any amount reasonably in dispute into an escrow account pending resolution of any objections raised by members to the amount of the fee. Any employee with an objection shall process the objection with the Union Board or the Illinois State Labor Relations Board.
