One-Touch Make Ready Clause Samples

The One-Touch Make Ready clause allows a single, qualified contractor to perform all necessary preparatory work on utility poles to accommodate new attachments, rather than requiring multiple parties to sequentially move or adjust their equipment. In practice, this means that when a new telecommunications provider needs to attach lines to a pole, the designated contractor can handle tasks such as moving existing wires or equipment in one coordinated effort, reducing the need for repeated site visits by different utility crews. This clause streamlines the process, minimizes delays, and helps ensure faster deployment of new services by eliminating the traditional bottleneck of waiting for each utility to perform its own make-ready work.
