Common use of Operations Department Clause in Contracts

Operations Department. (i) The positions of Lead Hand – Fleet, Licensed Automotive/Truck & Coach Technician and the Auto Service positions will work five (5) consecutive shifts alternating on three (3) shifts that change bi-weekly, 12:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m., 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m., commencing Monday morning 12:00 a.m. through Friday midnight 12:00 a.m. The Union and the City will agree to look at both ten (10) hour shifts and a Saturday day shift from 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. upon the signing of this Collective Agreement to be on a trial basis for 18 months.
