Common use of Opportunity Leave Clause in Contracts

Opportunity Leave. An opportunity leave is a leave to permit a bargaining unit member to accept certain honors or employment which will result in the bargaining unit member’s rendering more effective service to the school district upon their return. Such leave may include but not be limited to teaching or related service in the field of education.

Opportunity Leave. a. Definition: An opportunity leave is a leave to permit granted in order that a bargaining unit member to permanent Bargaining Unit Member may accept certain honors or employment a position which will result in the bargaining unit member’s Bargaining Unit Member rendering more effective service to the school district DISTRICT upon their his/her return. Such leave may include but not be limited , or to teaching or related service allow the Bargaining Unit Member to work in the field of educationa graduate Degree program.
