Organ Donor Leave. Pursuant to applicable Minnesota statutes, employees who work twenty (20) or more hours per week shall, upon advance notification to their immediate supervisor and approval by the Employer, be granted a paid leave of absence at the time they undergo medical procedures to donate an organ. At the time such employees request the leave, they shall provide to their immediate supervisor written verification by a physician of the purpose and length of the required leave. The combined length of leaves for this purpose may not exceed forty (40) hours unless agreed to by the Employer in its sole discretion.
