Common use of Orientation Meeting Clause in Contracts

Orientation Meeting. Within thirty (30) calendar days from execution of the Contract, Vendor and Order Fulfillers and Resellers will be required to attend an orientation meeting to discuss the content and procedures of the Contract to include reporting requirements. DIR, at its discretion, may waive the orientation requirement for Vendors who have previously held DIR contracts. The meeting will be held in the Austin, Texas area at a date and time mutually acceptable to DIR and the Vendor or by teleconference or by webinar, at DIR’s discretion. DIR shall bear no cost for the time and travel of the Vendor or Order Fulfillers and Resellers for attendance at the meeting. DIR may require the Vendor to attend periodic meetings to review the Vendor’s performance under the Contract, at DIR’s discretion. The meetings may be held within the Austin, Texas area at a date and time mutually acceptable to DIR and the Vendor or by teleconference. DIR shall bear no cost for the time and travel of the Vendor for attendance at the meeting. As part of the performance measures reported to state leadership, DIR must provide the cost avoidance the State has achieved through the Contract. Upon request by DIR, Vendor shall provide DIR with a detailed report of a representative sample of products sold under the Contract. The report shall contain: product part number, product description, list price and price to Customer under the Contract.
