Common use of Other Assignments Clause in Contracts

Other Assignments. Instructors, librarians and counselors who are assigned full-time to perform duties other than teaching, counseling duties or librarian duties, or who are assigned to instructional labs which require no special advance preparation and no evaluation which cannot be completed during the lab periods shall be responsible for scheduling thirty-five (35) hours per week for the purposes of carrying out the development and implementation of services to support the mission and philosophy of their credential field or area of assignment and to develop cooperatively with the administration, the goals and objectives of these services prior to the start of each academic year or the start of an assignment. These individuals, or groups as is appropriate on each campus shall develop, after consultation with the administration, their hours of work and methods of implementation for purposes of accomplishing the goals and objectives.
