Our Ethical Policy. We are committed to providing the highest standard of financial advice and service possible. The interest of our clients is paramount to us and to achieve this we have designed our systems and procedures to place you at the heart of our business. In doing so, we will: • Be open, honest and transparent in the way we deal with you. • Never place our interests above yours. • Communicate clearly, promptly and without jargon. • Seek your views and perception of our dealings with you to ensure it meets your expectations or to identify any improvements required.
Our Ethical Policy. We try to maintain an ethical stance and there are certain industries (along with companies and organisations servicing those industries) we cannot deal with. We will not deal with those involved the production, sale or distribution of arms and ammunition. We will not deal with those who are involved in the exploitation of non-sustainable resources in forestry and in the agricultural, mining and fuel industries. We will not deal with those who exploit the individual and/or who do not respect those basic human rights enshrined in the European Convention for Human Rights. It is a fundamental term of this Agreement that we will not appear under any banners, posters, logos or advertising or appear at any event sponsored, endorsed or supported by any company or organisation which does not comply with our Ethical Policy.   • BUSINESS ETHICS During the course of pursuing contracts, and the course of contract performance, Provider will maintain business ethics standards aimed at avoiding real or apparent impropriety or conflicts of interest. No substantial gifts, entertainment, payments, loans or other considerations beyond that which would be collectively categorized as incidental shall be made to any employees or officials of HISD, its authorized agents and representatives, or to family members of any of them. At any time Provider believes there may have been a violation of this obligation, Provider shall notify HISD of the possible violation. HISD is entitled to request a representation letter from Provider, its subcontractors or vendors at any time to disclose all things of value passing from Provider, its subcontractors or vendors to HISD’s personnel or its authorized agents and representatives. REQUIRED DISCLOSURES

  • Code of Ethics The Adviser has adopted a written code of ethics complying with the requirements of Rule 17j-1 under the Act and will provide the Trust with a copy of the code and evidence of its adoption. Within 45 days of the last calendar quarter of each year while this Agreement is in effect, the Adviser will provide to the Board of Trustees of the Trust a written report that describes any issues arising under the code of ethics since the last report to the Board of Trustees, including, but not limited to, information about material violations of the code and sanctions imposed in response to the material violations; and which certifies that the Adviser has adopted procedures reasonably necessary to prevent "access persons" (as that term is defined in Rule 17j-1) from violating the code.

  • PROCUREMENT ETHICS Contractor understands that a person who is interested in any way in the sale of any supplies, services, construction, or insurance to the State of Utah is violating the law if the person gives or offers to give any compensation, gratuity, contribution, loan, reward, or any promise thereof to any person acting as a procurement officer on behalf of the State of Utah, or who in any official capacity participates in the procurement of such supplies, services, construction, or insurance, whether it is given for their own use or for the use or benefit of any other person or organization.

  • General Policy Our policy is to make funds from your cash and check deposits available to you on the next business day after we receive your deposit. Electronic direct deposits will be available on the day we receive the deposit. Once they are available, you can withdraw the funds in cash and we will use the funds to pay checks that you have written. For determining the availability of your deposits, every day is a business day, except Saturdays, Sundays, and federal holidays. If you make a deposit before 6:00 p.m. within our facilities or through our ATM on a business day that we are open, we will consider that day to be the day of your deposit. However, if you make a deposit after 6:00 p.m. through our ATM or on a day we are not open, we will consider that the deposit was made on the next business day we are open.

  • Alcohol Policy Residents are required to abide by all New York State and New York University regulations regarding the use of alcohol. In residence halls, persons under the age of 21 may not be in the presence of alcohol or alcoholic beverage containers. Students (including residents and non- residential students), and guests who are of legal drinking age (21 years of age or older) may possess and consume alcoholic beverages (referred herein “alcohol”) within NYU residence halls in accordance with the following:

  • General Policies (a) The evaluated job rate arrived at through official evaluation by the Joint Job Evaluation Board will be final and binding upon both parties to the Labour Agreement unless review has been requested as provided in Section 3(a)(ii)(c) or 3(a)(ii)(g). In case of such review the decision of the Job Evaluation Directors or, where appropriate the Independent Review Officer shall be final and binding upon both parties. Where a number of appeals indicate a problem within a job field, the Directors shall refer such problems to the Administrative Committee for final determination.

  • Travel Policy (1) Travel arrangements shall be planned in accordance with the Federal Travel regulations, prescribed by the General Services Administration for travel in the conterminous 48 United States, (hereinafter the FTR) and the Joint Travel Regulation, Volume 2, DoD Civilian Personnel, Appendix A, prescribed by the Department of Defense (hereinafter the JTR).

  • Renewal Policies Not less than thirty (30) days prior to the expiration date of each insurance policy required pursuant to the Insurance Agreement, Mortgagor will deliver to Mortgagee either an appropriate renewal policy (or a certified copy thereof), together with evidence satisfactory to Mortgagee that the applicable premium has been prepaid.

  • SPAM POLICY You are strictly prohibited from using the Website or any of the Company's Services for illegal spam activities, including gathering email addresses and personal information from others or sending any mass commercial emails.

  • Personnel Policy Employees of the Parties to this Agreement shall be subject to the personnel rules, laws and regulations of their respective agencies, unless they are employed temporarily by another Party to this Agreement and the authority under which such temporary employment is authorized provides that such employees shall be subject to the employing Party’s personnel laws and regulations.
