Outside Detail/Private Paid Duty Details. Notwithstanding any provision of the Collective Bargaining Agreement to the contrary, the parties agree that the outside/private paid detail rate for members of NEPBA, Local 190B who are working for outside parties except the contractor operating the Xxxxxxx Center on Behalf of the University Shall be paid as follows: Outside Detail: Overtime rate for the top step rate of each rank plus 15%. Examples of this type of detail are, but are not limited to, outside contractors requiring police services for traffic direction in the roadway (construction), athletic events which are not sponsored by the University (NCAA, summer camps/tournaments) and any other police service requested but not otherwise defined herein in the side agreement. The University of Massachusetts may charge up to a 10% administrative fee to the outside entity in addition to the specified hourly rate listed in this side letter. If an officer works beyond (8) hours on a detail, the officer will be compensated at time and one half of the hourly rate listed in this paragraph for all work after eight. *This detail rate will change from time to time through the collective bargaining procedure.
