Over Maximum. An Employee whose salary is above the highest Step in her pay Grade, will be administered as over-maximum. Such Employees will not be eligible for any salary increases until their salary is less than or equal to the highest basic rate of pay in the pay Grade.

Over Maximum. 30.04 An employee whose salary is above the highest Step in her/his pay grade will be administered as over- maximum. Such employee will not be eligible for any salary increases until the maximum salary in the pay grade exceeds the employee’s salary. In any case, any salary increase shall be limited such that the employee’s salary does not exceed the maximum salary in the employee’s pay grade.
Over Maximum. An Employee whose wage rate is above the highest step in the wage grid, will be administered as over-maximum. Such Employees will not be eligible for any wage rate increases until their wage rate is less than or equal to the highest rate of pay in the job classification. Employees who are over maximum will receive a lump sum amount equal to the Across-The-Board salary increases for any particular year.

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Higher Salary Range Maximum Upon appointment to the higher class, the employee’s base salary will be increased to a step of the range for the new class that is nearest to five percent (5.0%) higher than the amount of the pre-promotional step, or to the entry step of the new range, whichever is higher.

  • Maximum Duration Up to five years. The five-year period is a cumulative total of all absences from employment at the University due to the employee’s service in the military. If it appears that an employee has exceeded the five-year total, the appropriate University Human Resources office must be contacted to verify the total length of the employee’s military service, and determine the department’s obligation to place the employee.

  • Reallocation to a Class with an Equal Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position, the employee remains in the position and retains existing appointment status.
