Overseeing Asset Identification and Marking. The Independent Chartered Engineer, as a part of asset verification team will participate in conducting the joint verification for asset identification. The team shall capture details for each and every street light point along with particulars of xxxx number, street name in consultation with Authority, switching point, energy meter’s RR number or connection number, feeder panel, switching, protection, communication and control equipment, pole number, pole spacing/ span, fixture height, existing fixture type; rating & numbers for particular pole etc. Once completion of Asset Identification, Concessionaire has to confirm Energy meters under the ownership of Authority in consultation with respective HESCOM and/or Authority. Also must collect associated arrears on each Energy meter. Independent Chartered Engineer shall ensure quality protocol is ensured during the installation to assess the life span of smart systems including the smart meters, CCMS system, other IT infrastructure etc. taking into the failure rate of devices, depreciation etc. Independent Chartered Engineer shall certify the asset register inventory created jointly by the Authority and Concessionaire that shall define physical boundary of the project in accordance with the guidelines set out at Schedule 3. Inventorizing and GIS asset mapping of electric poles so as to capture the GPS coordinates of poles. Independent Chartered Engineer shall also validate the pole marked by the Concessionaire each new Street lighting pole covered under this Project.
