Common use of Overtime on Days of Rest Clause in Contracts

Overtime on Days of Rest. (a) An employee who is required to work overtime on his/her first day of rest shall be paid at the rate of time and one-half. (b) An employee who is required to work on his/her second or subsequent day of rest shall be paid at the rate of double time, provided the employee has worked on his/her first day of rest.
