PAID ASSISTANCE FOR MOVING A bargaining unit member 33 (a) whom the District involuntarily transfers to another school site after the 34 first student instructional day; (b) who has been displaced and is returning 35 to his/her original school site after the first student instructional day; or (c) 36 who was released from employment pursuant to a Reduction in Force, who 37 accepted a temporary assignment and accepts re-employment to a 1 permanent or probationary assignment after the first student instructional 2 day shall, upon request, be provided assistance in moving his/her personal 3 and classroom materials and receive one (1) day of student free preparation 4 time, and receive up to sixteen (16) hours compensation, paid at the current 5 hourly rate. If a bargaining unit member’s class is involuntarily moved from 6 one location to another location within the same work site, he/she shall be 7 provided assistance in moving his/her personal and classroom materials 8 and will receive up to sixteen (16) hours compensation, paid at the current 9 hourly rate; (d) If a bargaining unit member’s class is involuntarily moved 10 from one location to another location within the same work site, he/she shall 11 be provided assistance in moving his/her personal and classroom materials 12 and will receive up to sixteen (16) hours compensation, paid at the current 13 hourly rate.

  • TUITION ASSISTANCE PROGRAM POLICY The Tuition Assistance Program supports Queen's commitment to the development of employee skills and abilities. Departments are asked to endorse employees who wish to enrol in academic courses or attend training courses that will enhance their personal growth or ability to perform their duties. The Tuition Assistance Program is divided into 2 components - the Educational Development Fund which pays tuition fees for Queen's credit courses, and the Professional Development Fund which reimburses tuition fees (to a maximum of $400 per year) for work-related courses at other recognized educational institutions.   • Dependent Care Assistance Program The County offers the option of enrolling in a Dependent Care Assistance Program (DCAP) designed to qualify for tax savings under Section 129 of the Internal Revenue Code, but such savings are not guaranteed. The program allows employees to set aside up to five thousand dollars ($5,000) of annual salary (before taxes) per calendar year to pay for eligible dependent care (child and elder care) expenses. Any unused balance is forfeited and cannot be recovered by the employee.

  • Employee Assistance Program A. The State recognizes that alcohol, nicotine, drug abuse, and stress may adversely affect job performance and are treatable conditions. As a means of correcting job performance problems, the State may offer referral to treatment for alcohol, nicotine, drug, and stress related problems such as marital, family, emotional, financial, medical, legal, or other personal problems. The intent of this section is to assist an employee's voluntary efforts to treat alcoholism, nicotine use, or a drug-related or a stress-related problem.

  • EDUCATIONAL ASSISTANCE PROGRAM The District’s Educational Assistance Program will be continued during the life of this Agreement. Employees who wish to enroll in job-related and promotion oriented courses, which will improve their job knowledge, and performance will be compensated by the District for expenses as follows:

  • Employee Assistance Programs Consistent with the University's Employee Assistance Program, employees participating in an employee assistance program who receive a notice of layoff may continue to participate in that program for a period of ninety (90) days following the layoff.

  • Directory Assistance Service 8.3.1 Directory Assistance Service provides local end user telephone number listings with the option to complete the call at the caller's direction separate and distinct from local switching.
