Paid Release Time. (a) It is acknowledged by the Parties that all Union Stewards have regular duties to perform as Employees of the Employer. Therefore, Union Stewards will not leave their duties without first obtaining the permission of their Supervisor, or designate. Requests for Union Release Time, paid or unpaid, shall not be unreasonably denied. Meetings involving the Branch Local President will not be scheduled on her day off without her agreement.
