Common use of Paid Sick Days Clause in Contracts

Paid Sick Days. (a) Employees shall earn one (1) paid sick day (equal to eight [8] hours) for each one hundred thirty(130) paid hours of bargaining unit work during each fiscal year (July 1 through June 30), up to a maximum of twelve (12) paid sick days in any given fiscal year. Paid sick days earned but unused may be accumulated and carried over, from one fiscal year to the next, up to but not exceeding a total of sixty (60) paid sick days.
