Parental Policy. The Crédit Agricole S.A. Group complies with international labour standards relating to maternity protection and family responsibilities3 as well as European and national law regarding the health and protection of women in the workplace. In this context, it undertakes to ensure that as of 1 January 2021, and in any event at the end of the term of application of this agreement, all Group employees will benefit from paid maternity leave of a duration of 16 weeks. This leave includes the period before and after childbirth. During this period, employees are entitled to, at a minimum, the maintenance of their fixed level of remuneration, with deductions of any compensation received from a public and/or private insurance organisation to which the employer may be contributing. In any event, an employee on maternity leave cannot receive a higher salary than that which she would have received if she had been working. At the end of such leave, the employee will return to her position or an equivalent position. The terms and conditions relating to this maternity leave are defined at the entity level. In addition to the maternity leave defined above, the parties encourage entities to implement measures such as adoption leave or paternity leave which are likely to encourage a diversity of (co-)parenting situations to be taken into account.
