PART-TIME PARTICIPATION IN FLEX. ACTIVITY 1 Part-time faculty bargaining unit members shall be encouraged to participate in activities 2 which will enhance their performance through either attendance at flex activities conducted at 3 the campus or participation in educational endeavors and workshops related to their 4 performance of assigned duties. In the event that flex activities are conducted on campus or are 5 District sponsored, no advance notification to the District shall be required. Workshops and/or 6 other activities not conducted by the college shall require advance authorization by the 7 immediate supervisor in order to be compensated for attendance. 9 Compensation shall be provided for up to three (3) additional hours upon presentation of verified 10 attendance at activities. 11 12 Participation in the activities referenced above shall be voluntary, and shall not count toward 13 load credit with regard to Education Code Section 87482.5 (67% Law). 17 The first time an instructor completes ITV delivered instruction, he/shethey will receive a $150 18 stipend. 20 7.3.3 ONLINE DELIVERY 22 The first time an instructor completes online delivered instruction, he/she will receive a $150 23 stipend. 24 25 7.3.4 OTHER STIPENDS 26 27 Other stipends may be paid to unit members as set forth below.

  • Employee Participation The Employer will assist employees' participation in health promotion and health education programs. Health promotion and health education programs that have been endorsed by the Employer (Minnesota Management & Budget) will be considered to be non-assigned job-related training pursuant to Administrative Procedure 21. Approval for this training is at the discretion of the Appointing Authority and is contingent upon meeting staffing needs in the employee's absence and the availability of funds. Employees are eligible for release time, tuition reimbursement, or a pro rata combination of both. Employees may be reimbursed for up to one hundred (100) percent of tuition or registration costs upon successful completion of the program. Employees may be granted release time, including the travel time, in lieu of reimbursement.

  • Non-Participation in Insurance Your initials on this clause of the Agreement acknowledges the Patient’s understanding that neither the CLINIC, nor its Physician, participate in any health insurance or HMO plans or panels and cannot accept Medicare eligible patients. We make no representations that any fees that You pay under this Agreement are covered by your health insurance or other third party payment plans.
