Common use of Partial Shift Clause in Contracts

Partial Shift. Employees who work less than four (4) hours shall be paid for four (4) hours; Employees who work more than four (4) hours shall be paid the actual hours worked, rounded up in ¼ hour increments. Employees who cannot work a full shift because of weather conditions or other conditions beyond the control of the Employer shall be paid for actual hours worked.
