Common use of Past Service Credits Clause in Contracts

Past Service Credits. If the Plan is adopted as a standardized Plan, upon initial adoption of this Plan or upon a Plan amendment which is effective on or after the Final Compliance Date, no more than 5 years of credit shall be granted for service completed before the effective date of such adoption or amendment, and any such past service credit shall be granted on a uniform basis to all Participants in the Plan on such effective date.
