Common use of Pay for Overtime Worked Clause in Contracts

Pay for Overtime Worked. An employee who is required to work overtime shall be compensated at one and one-half (1½) times the hourly rate paid to the employee computed on the basis of her/his normal working hours. All overtime worked by an employee in excess of four (4) hours in any normal work week shall be paid at double the hourly rate paid to the employee.
