Pay for Working on a Recognized City Holiday. Effective June 30, 2017, employees required to work on holidays as enumerated in this agreement shall be compensated at a rate of one and one half ( 1 ½) times the regular rate of pay for every hour worked on all holidays worked. Pay for working on a recognized City holiday is in addition to the Holiday Pay listed in Section 4 above. For employees that are required to work on a recognized City holiday as part of their established regular work schedule, the pay for working on a recognized City holiday will be reported to CalPERS as special compensation in the same payperiod received as required by CalPERS.
