Common use of Pay Provision for Special Compensatory Leave Clause in Contracts

Pay Provision for Special Compensatory Leave. (1) Upon separation from the Career Service, an employee shall be paid only for the following unused special compensatory leave credits: (a) Special compensatory leave credits earned prior to July 1, 2012 (Leave Type 0055); (b) Special compensatory leave credits earned from July 1, 2012 through October 31, 2014 that were restored to the Pre 7/2012 leave balance (Leave Type 0055); and (c) Special compensatory leave credits earned after November 1, 2015 that have not yet been paid pursuant to Section 6(D)(3) of this Article. (2) Such credits shall be paid at the employee’s current regular rate of pay.
