Pay Scale & Removal Of. The Job Xxxxxxx shall not be removed for performing their duties. COUNCIL is to be notified 24 hours before a Xxxxxxx is removed from the job. The Charge person and the Xxxxxxx shall be the first persons to return to work when the job is resumed. The Xxxxxxx will receive the highest journeyperson’s wage rate on the job. The Xxxxxxx will remain on the job until completion thereof if qualified in the opinion of the EMPLOYER and the COUNCIL. If a job is shut down temporarily and the EMPLOYEES are sent to another job, the Xxxxxxx will also be given work.

Pay Scale & Removal Of. The Job Stewards shall be allowed sufficient and reasonable time during working hours to carry on any activities necessary to discharge their duties. They shall have authority to check the identification of individuals employed on the job or in the shop. The Employer shall not dismiss or otherwise discipline any Xxxxxxx for properly performing his or her duties, nor shall the Employer dismiss or otherwise discipline any employee for making a complaint to the Xxxxxxx or giving evidence with respect to an alleged violation of this Agreement. Except for General Foremen and Xxxxxxx, the Job Xxxxxxx shall have top seniority on the job to which he or she is assigned, as long as he or she remains in the positions of Xxxxxxx and so long as he or she has the qualifications and ability to perform the available work. The Job Xxxxxxx shall be the first person offered overtime, provided he/she has the qualifications and ability to perform the available work. Job Stewards may be relieved of their duties at any time at the discretion of the Union. It is agreed by the parties hereto that the Job Xxxxxxx shall not have the authority to call for or initiate a work stoppage or job action at the workplace or job site and must immediately report all problems to the Business Manager or Business Agent.

  • Graffiti Removal Graffiti is detrimental to the health, safety and welfare of the community in that it promotes a perception in the community that the laws protecting public and private property can be disregarded with impunity. This perception fosters a sense of disrespect of the law that results in an increase in crime; degrades the community and leads to urban blight; is detrimental to property values, business opportunities and the enjoyment of life; is inconsistent with the City’s property maintenance goals and aesthetic standards; and results in additional graffiti and in other properties becoming the target of graffiti unless it is quickly removed from public and private property. Graffiti results in visual pollution and is a public nuisance. Graffiti must be abated as quickly as possible to avoid detrimental impacts on the City and County and its residents, and to prevent the further spread of graffiti.

Indivior must engage a new IRO within 60 days of its receipt of OIG’s written notice.
