Payment for period of leave. 4.1 Payment to a Practitioner in respect of long service leave will be made in one of the following ways: 4.1.1 in full in advance when the Practitioner commences leave; or 4.1.2 at the same time as payment would have been made if the Practitioner had remained on duty; or 4.1.3 in any other way agreed between Western Health and the Practitioner. 4.2 Where the employment of the Practitioner is for any reason terminated before taking long service leave to which the Practitioner is entitled or where any long service leave accrues to a Practitioner pursuant to clause 1.2.3, the Practitioner will, subject to the provisions of clause 4.3, be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment. 4.3 Where any long service leave accrues to a Practitioner pursuant to clause 1.2.1, the Practitioner will be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment. 4.4 Provided in the case of a Practitioner who accrues entitlement pursuant clause 1.2(a), and who intends to be re-employed by another Institution or Statutory Body: 4.4.1 such a Practitioner may in writing request payment in respect of such leave to be deferred until after the expiry of the Practitioner's allowable period of absence from employment provided in clause 2.4.7. 4.4.2 except where the Practitioner gives notice in writing that another Institution or Statutory Body has employed the Practitioner, payment will be made in respect of such leave at the expiry of the Practitioner's allowable period of absence from employment. 4.4.3 where a Practitioner gives notice in writing that the Practitioner has been employed by another Institution or Statutory Body, Western Health is no longer required to make payment to the Practitioner in respect of such leave. 4.5 Where an increase occurs in the ordinary time rate of pay during any period of long service leave taken by the Practitioner, the Practitioner will be entitled to receive payment of the amount of any increase in pay at the completion of such leave.

4.1.1 (a) in full in advance when the Practitioner Employee commences their leave; or
4.1.2 (b) at the same time as payment would have been made if the Practitioner employee had remained on duty, in which case payment shall, if the Employee in writing so requires, be made by cheque posted to a specified address; or
4.1.3 (c) in any other way agreed between Western Health the employer and the Practitioneremployee.
4.2 Where the employment of the Practitioner an employee is for any reason terminated before taking the Employee takes any long service leave to which the Practitioner is they are entitled or where any long service leave accrues to a Practitioner an Employee pursuant to clause 1.2.3, 1.2 hereof the Practitioner willemployee shall, subject to the provisions of clause 4.3, be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment.
4.3 (a) Where any long service leave accrues to a Practitioner an employee pursuant to clause 1.2.1, 1.2(c) hereof the Practitioner will employee shall be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment.
4.4 Provided (b) Except where the employee gives the employer notice in writing that the case of a Practitioner who accrues entitlement pursuant clause 1.2(a), and who intends to be re-Employee has been employed by another Institution or Statutory Body:
4.4.1 such a Practitioner may in writing request Body the employer shall make payment in respect of such leave to be deferred until after the expiry of the Practitioner's allowable period of absence from employment provided in clause 2.4.7.
4.4.2 except where the Practitioner gives notice in writing that another Institution or Statutory Body has employed the Practitioner, payment will be made in respect of such leave at the expiry of the Practitioneremployee's allowable period of absence from employment.
4.4.3 where a Practitioner (c) Where the employee gives the employer notice in writing that the Practitioner employee has been employed by another Institution or Statutory Body, Western Health Body the employer is no longer required to make payment to the Practitioner employee in respect of such leave.

4.2 28.4.2 Where the employment of the Practitioner Doctor is for any reason terminated before taking long service leave to which the Practitioner Doctor is entitled or where any long service leave accrues to a Practitioner Doctor pursuant to clause 1.2.328.1.2(b) of this Agreement, the Practitioner Doctor will, subject to the provisions of clause 4.328.4.5 below, be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment.
4.3 28.4.3 Where any long service leave accrues to a Practitioner Doctor pursuant to clause 1.2.128.1.2(a) of this Agreement, the Practitioner Doctor will be entitled to pay in respect of such leave as at the date of termination of employment.
4.4 28.4.4 Provided in the case of a Practitioner Doctor who accrues entitlement pursuant to clause 1.2(a), 28.1.2
(a) of this Agreement and who intends to be re-employed by another Institution or Statutory Body:
4.4.1 (a) such a Practitioner may Doctor xxx in writing request payment in respect of such leave to be deferred until after the expiry of the Practitioner's Doctor’s allowable period of absence from employment provided in clause 2.4.728.2.6(g) of this Agreement.
4.4.2 (b) except where the Practitioner Doctor gives notice in writing that the Doctor has been employed by another Institution or Statutory Body has employed the PractitionerBody, payment will be made in respect of such leave at the expiry of the Practitioner's Doctor’s allowable period of absence from employment.; and
4.4.3 (c) where a Practitioner Doctor gives notice in writing that the Practitioner Doctor has been employed by another Institution or Statutory Body, Western the Health Service is no longer required to make payment to the Practitioner Doctor in respect of such leave.
4.5 28.4.5 Where an increase occurs in the ordinary time rate of pay during any period of long service leave taken by the PractitionerDoctor, the Practitioner Doctor will be entitled to receive payment of the amount of any increase in pay at the completion of such leave.
