Common use of Payment for Unused Days of Sick Leave Clause in Contracts

Payment for Unused Days of Sick Leave. Employees who enter retirement from the Harford County Public Schools after ten (10) years of service in those schools shall receive payment for unused days of sick leave up to a maximum of 200 days, effective July 1, 1998, at the rate of 25% of the daily rate of pay.* Full time employees shall be paid the above listed percentage or $18, whichever is higher.
