Payment for Unused Sick Days Upon Retirement. 1. Any teacher who retires according to the terms of the Teachers' Pension and Annuity Fund, in order to receive immediate pension benefits, shall receive $50 per each accumulated sick leave day up to 150 days.

All full-time 12-month unit members and all full-time, 10-month unit members who are eligible* to retire from the District and who have ten (10) or more years of service in the District will be compensated for one half of their accumulated sick time leave at $ 40.00 dollars per day.
